Very pleased to be releasing the apparently final C/. album, monumental 8 hour digital box set release of some new material and some older material as a way to release all the best stuff as one thing and fuck off forever it seems. Overarching horribly depressing mood all over this, this project has been one of the most inventive recontextualisations of the ANW object probably ever, the walls being sound beds enhancing the quality of lonely ambient soundscapes and creating these really downtrodden moods that have been helping trumendously throughout the past year or so. Hopelessly bleak and in touch with ANW's net aesthetic of surrogate company/comfort and with transgressive PE aesthetic influence (sorry to anyone from outside that, some of this stuff is proper nasty), stuff working with and ignoring the ANW context and going for this "post-wall" concept of extending the value of the static wall with external elements. Bright screen in a dark room in the wee hours, basking in it. I AM NOT BEING USEFUL! One of the best on this label, For Real.
